Multilingual Resources

The Board has produced information booklets on how to register with a GP Practice in seven different languages, namely, Polish, Portuguese, Czech, Slovak, Lithuanian, Latvian and Russian. GP registration forms in that language are included in the booklet together with other information on accessing GP, interpreting and emergency care services.

The Equality Unit at the Central Services Agency has published a Health Care Booklet. This booklet will provide advice about health and social care in Northern Ireland and how to access services; it will hopefully be of use to anyone who comes to live here for long periods of time, including ethnic minorities, migrant workers, refugees, asylum seekers and students. The booklet can be downloaded from the NHSSB website under publications in a number of different languages.
