Profile of NHSSB
The Northern Health and Social Services Board is the second largest of the
four Health and Social Services Boards established in Northern Ireland by Government
in 1973. Just under 433,000 people live within the Board’s area, which
covers the Council boundaries of Antrim, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Carrickfergus,
Coleraine, Cookstown, Larne, Magherafelt, Moyle and Newtownabbey.
